Set in the best neighborhood in the Hamptons, a heavenly place with gilded beaches, clear sky and superb mansions where the rich run wild with somebody else’s husband or wife, Revenge revolves around Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp, Everwood, Brothers & Sisters), a nubile young woman, who moves back into the childhood home she shared with her father, David Clarke (James Tupper, How I Met Your Mother, Grey’s Anatomy), to square up with the people that destroyed her family… When she was just a little girl (and known as Amanda Clarke), her father was thrown into jail for a crime he didn’t commit. While serving his time, the conspirators who framed him for murder put out David’s light in order to prevent the truth from coming out. Now, Emily returned with a new identity and ready to take vengeance on the people that stole her childhood.

Among the plotters rank Victoria (Madeleine Stowe, Trapper John, M.D., The Gangster Chronicles) and Conrad Grayson (Henry Czerny, The Tudors, Monk). At first, Emily believes that the two are the masterminds of the cover up, but she soon realizes that they are only the tip of the iceberg… Helping her to fulfill her plans is Nolan (Mitchell) Ross (Gabriel Mann, Mad Men, Legend of the Seeker), former buddy of David Clarke and best friend of Jack Porter (Nick Wechsler, Without a Trace, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia), who also happens to be Emily’s childhood pal and current secret love.

Among the characters who cross the protagonist’s path rank Daniel Grayson (Josh Bowman, Holby City, Make It or Break It), the former playboy son of Victoria and Conrad, Charlotte Grayson (Christa B. Allen, Medium, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation), the fruit of an affair between Victoria and David, Declan Porter (Connor Paolo, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Gossip Girl), Jack’s younger brother, and Ashley Davenport (Ashley Madekwe, Drop Dead Gorgeous, Secret Diary of a Call Girl), a party planner to Victoria.
